Riyadh International Book Fair 2026 set for December 10–19

The Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission has announced the opening of registration for local and international publishers wishing to participate in the Riyadh International Book Fair 2026, which is scheduled to take place in the capital from December 10 to 19.

The commission invited publishing houses and interested institutions to submit their registration applications through the following online link: https://engage.moc.gov.sa/reg_forms/tracks/326/?lang=ar.

The Riyadh International Book Fair is a major cultural event and an annual gathering for professionals in literature, publishing, and translation from around the world. It aims to advance the book industry, promote translation, and reinforce the role of literature as a key pillar of culture and knowledge, while also fostering a passion for reading within the community.

The fair also offers an exceptional platform for publishers to showcase their latest intellectual and literary releases to visitors and enthusiasts in a vibrant cultural environment.

A comprehensive cultural program will be held alongside the fair, featuring a series of panel discussions, training workshops, and lectures with the participation of leading intellectuals, academics, and experts from Saudi Arabia and abroad.

The fair will continue to dedicate the "Saudi Author Corner," as part of ongoing efforts by the commission to support Saudi writers and enable them to present and market their works—those with self-owned publishing and distribution rights—to the public and reading enthusiasts.

In its upcoming edition, the fair will also focus on children's culture through the "Children's Pavilion," offering an exceptional experience dedicated to children's and young adult literature, with interactive programs and creative workshops designed to nurture imagination and instill a love of reading in a fun and safe educational environment.
