Motorists urged to keep safe distance to avoid collisions, says traffic authority

Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Traffic has stressed the importance of drivers maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles on the road.

The authority stated on X (formerly Twitter) that keeping a safe distance helps drivers avoid the risk of collisions.

It added that focusing on the road ensures safety for both the driver and others, while distractions increase risk. Drivers are advised to eliminate anything that could divert their attention while driving and to make the road their main priority.
