Riyadh road security arrests citizen for selling local firewood

The special road security force in Riyadh region has arrested a citizen for violating environmental regulations by possessing local firewood offered for sale. The seized items were handed over to the relevant authorities.

This action is part of the Ministry of Interior's ongoing efforts to monitor the marketing of local charcoal and firewood within cities, governorates, and on intercity roads, as well as unauthorized online advertisements for such activities.

Public Security has urged citizens to report any violations against the environment or wildlife by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 996 and 999 in other regions of the Kingdom.
