KSRelief efforts continue in earthquake-hit areas of Syria and Turkiye

The ninth Saudi relief plane landed at Aleppo International Airport, carrying 35 tons of food, shelter supplies, and medical aid.

This aid shipment is a part of the Saudi relief airlift offered by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) to aid the victims of the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey. The airlift is being sent at the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman that reflect the noble efforts of the Kingdom.

Meanwhile, the eleventh Saudi relief plane has headed King Khalid International Airport, heading to Gaziantep International Airport. On board were blankets, shelter bags, medical supplies like intravenous fluids, solutions to treat dehydration, medications, painkillers, medicines for chronic diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes, medications for cold disease, sterilizers, and ointments to treat allergies and burns.

Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Fatih Ulusoy, stated his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom's government, shown by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince for the generous Saudi aid provided to the earthquake victims in his country, which contributed to alleviating the suffering of the affected people and to provide for their emergency needs.
