Lawyer and legal consultant Nasser Al-Ali has highlighted the main objectives of Saudi Arabia’s new enforcement law.

Speaking to Al-Ikhbariya Radio, Al-Ali said the law aims to accelerate the execution of court judgments and enforceable documents, develop electronic procedures, and ensure a balance between the rights of creditors and debtors. He noted that financial hardship will no longer be automatically considered as deliberate default.

He added that the law comprises 65 articles across seven chapters and marks a significant step in advancing the Kingdom’s judicial system. The law aligns with the corporate, civil transactions, and commercial transactions laws, enabling rights holders to access their entitlements more clearly and efficiently while safeguarding guarantees for all parties.
