Saudi electric car brand Ceer poised to compete globally, expert says

Automotive expert Ahmed Al-Harbi said that vehicles produced by Ceer are set to compete with international brands and represent the beginning of an emerging national car industry.

Speaking to Al-Ekhbariya channel, he added that the name of the car, "Exobot," refers to an unconventional robot and encompasses a wide range of inventions and innovations.

A few days ago, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Public Investment Fund, launched Ceer's first model, named "Exobot." The launch reflects Saudi Arabia's strategic direction to develop an advanced industrial sector in line with Vision 2030 goals and to strengthen the Kingdom's position on the global automotive map.
