Abu Arish launches seedling planting drive for National Afforestation Season 2026

Abu Arish Municipality has launched an environmental initiative to plant seedlings as part of the 2026 National Afforestation Season, aiming to boost vegetation cover, expand green spaces, and enhance the urban landscape in line with the Saudi Green Initiative and Vision 2030 targets.

The initiative builds on the municipality’s ongoing efforts to develop the local environment and improve public facilities by expanding tree planting and seedling distribution in targeted areas, contributing to quality of life and beautifying the governorate.

This year’s theme is "A Generation Plants... For a Thriving Nation."
