Saudi Arabia’s Cultural Development Fund has unveiled AI incentives to support cultural projects, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and SDAIA.

The incentives target micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises seeking to adopt or develop artificial intelligence technologies within their cultural projects, offering financial incentives of up to 500,000 riyals (SAR) for eligible projects to enable the development and adoption of innovative solutions.

Creativity and production
Heritage and asset preservation
Content and knowledge enrichment
Enhancing cultural experiences and participation
Cultural project management and operations
Governance and intellectual property
The initiative aims to develop solutions that support various activities across the value chain and promote digital transformation within the cultural sector.
Coinciding with the Year of Artificial Intelligence
The Fund noted that the launch coincides with the Year of Artificial Intelligence and builds on a tripartite agreement with the Ministry of Culture and SDAIA to promote the adoption of advanced technologies, support innovation, and boost competitiveness in the cultural sector.
Cultural Development Fund CEO Majid bin Abdulmohsen Al-Hogail said the initiative reflects a strategic direction to enable the cultural sector to benefit from modern technologies, emphasizing the importance of artificial intelligence in developing cultural products and services and increasing the sector’s contribution to the creative economy, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 goals.
