According to the Authority’s statement on X, the fifth edition of NaqlThon aims to continue inspiring innovators, provide a supportive environment for unique ideas, and expand the use of artificial intelligence and data technologies to develop sustainable solutions that enhance the efficiency and quality of transport services and improve user experience. This supports the goals of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.
The competition features five main tracks: data-driven smart mobility, smart cities and urban mobility solutions, sustainability and energy efficiency in transport, innovation in logistics and supply chains, and user experience and integrated mobility. Participants will gather at the bootcamp over three days to develop ideas and prototypes and enhance their feasibility, under the guidance of a panel of expert judges and mentors.
The total prize money for the top three winners amounts to 300,000 riyals (SAR), encouraging participants to present innovative ideas and develop practical models that address the competition’s challenges.
