Jeddah governor calls for heightened readiness at annual Civil Defense meeting

Jeddah Governor Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, who also chairs the local Civil Defense Committee, presided over the committee’s annual meeting for 1448 AH today at the governorate headquarters, with the participation of directors from relevant government agencies.

During the meeting, Prince Saud reviewed a presentation on the committee’s recent activities, as well as plans by concerned agencies to address rainfall and ensure business continuity.

The meeting discussed coordination mechanisms and integration among agencies, along with ongoing efforts in public awareness and prevention.

Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi emphasized the importance of raising preparedness levels, strengthening cooperation among agencies, and intensifying preventive and awareness programs to ensure rapid response and the protection of lives and property.
