Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Chairs Meeting of Central Hajj Committee
Deputy Governor of Makkah Region and Vice Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz chaired today the committee meeting, which included a review of the authorities' early preparation plans for the next holy month of Ramadan.
The deputy governor stressed the wise leadership's keenness to provide the best services to the worshippers and visitors during the Umrah and Hajj seasons.
During the meeting, the committee reviewed the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah's plans, in cooperation with the concerned authorities, and the agenda's topics.
The General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque presented its plan that provides an integrated system of services to be distributed over 235 prayer sites and major areas at the two holy mosques in order to facilitate the performance of rituals of 107,000 worshipers per hour under the supervision of over 12,000 employees.
