Border Guard in Jazan arrests three Ethiopians for smuggling 60 kg of khat

Land patrols of the Border Guard in the Al-Daer sector of Jazan region have arrested three Ethiopian nationals for violating border security regulations by attempting to smuggle 60 kilograms of the narcotic plant khat.

Initial legal procedures have been completed against them, and both the suspects and the seized items have been handed over to the competent authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, 999 or 994 in other regions, or the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline at 995.
