Fog and strong winds forecast for Eastern Province, says weather center

The National Center for Meteorology issued a warning on Monday of dense fog affecting the Eastern Province, including the cities of Dammam and Dhahran, and the governorates of Jubail, Ras Tanura, Qatif, Khobar, Buqayq, and Al Ahsa. The fog is expected to reduce horizontal visibility to between 1 and 3 kilometers on highways and in open areas. The condition is forecast to persist until 8 a.m.

Meanwhile, Hafr Al-Batin governorate is experiencing strong winds with speeds reaching 40-49 km/h, causing dust and reducing visibility to between 3 and 5 kilometers on highways and in open areas. This weather is expected to continue until 7 p.m.
