Jazan University launches cultural and awareness programs for National Day

Jazan University, through its General Directorate of Community and International Partnerships, has launched a series of cultural, training, and awareness programs to mark Saudi National Day. The initiatives aim to strengthen values of citizenship and belonging, foster community responsibility, and feature participation from leading academics and specialists.

The programs cover the Kingdom’s history and status, the national development journey, elements of identity and belonging, the citizen’s role in community impact, legal awareness, and the promotion of citizenship. They also address national terminology in Saudi Sign Language and the role of partnerships in the development process.

Other topics include modern technologies, most notably artificial intelligence and national capabilities for a promising future, as well as cybersecurity and safe digital practices. These sessions aim to raise awareness of contemporary challenges and connect knowledge with national responsibility.

The university has also dedicated several programs to the concept of patriotism as both a behavior and a responsibility, in addition to psychological programs designed to boost motivation for change and building new beginnings.

The programs are offered both in-person at various university facilities and online, as part of the university’s efforts to leverage its academic expertise in serving the community, promoting national culture, and expanding participation in National Day activities.
