Palestinian presidency condemns drone attack targeting Makkah

The Palestinian presidency has condemned the recent drone attack targeting Makkah, which Saudi Royal Air Defense Forces intercepted and destroyed before it entered the airspace of the holy city. The presidency stressed that the security of Saudi Arabia and the Two Holy Mosques is a red line, and their safety is an inseparable part of Arab and Islamic national security.

The presidency also stated today that targeting the Qibla of Muslims and the spiritual heart of their faith is a serious criminal act and a blatant violation of the sanctity of Islamic holy sites. It warned that such actions threaten the security of the Kingdom, the safety of its citizens, residents, and pilgrims. The statement reaffirmed Palestine’s support for Saudi Arabia in confronting any threats to its security, sovereignty, and stability.
