Palestinian presidency condemns drone attack targeting Makkah

The Palestinian presidency has condemned the recent drone attack targeting Makkah, which was intercepted and destroyed by Saudi Royal Air Defense Forces before it entered the airspace of the holy city. The presidency emphasized that the security of Saudi Arabia and the Two Holy Mosques is a red line, and that their safety is an integral part of Arab and Islamic national security.

The presidency also stated today that targeting the Qibla of Muslims and the destination of their hearts is a dangerous criminal act and a blatant violation of the sanctity of Islamic holy sites. It warned that such actions threaten the security of the Kingdom, the safety of its citizens, residents, and pilgrims. The statement reaffirmed that the State of Palestine stands with Saudi Arabia in confronting any threats to its security, sovereignty, and stability.
