Saudi ministry recalls 260 Mercedes Actros trucks over steering defect

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Commerce has announced the recall of 260 Mercedes Actros trucks from the 2025 and 2026 model years due to a manufacturing defect in the steering system components that could lead to a break in the steering arm, increasing the risk of accidents.

The ministry urged owners of the affected trucks to check if their vehicle identification number is included in the recall by visiting the Recalls.sa platform, and to contact Ibrahim Juffali Equipment Industrial Company to arrange for free repairs.

The ministry stressed that this measure is part of efforts to ensure the safety of vehicle users and to minimize potential risks.
