Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Public Investment Fund, today launched the first model from Saudi national automaker Ceer, named "Exobot." The launch reflects the Kingdom’s strategic vision to develop an advanced industrial sector in line with Saudi Vision 2030, and to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s position on the global automotive map.

On this occasion, the crown prince said: "The launch of Ceer’s first car marks another milestone in Saudi Arabia’s journey to build a sustainable and thriving industrial ecosystem. It will empower the automotive sector as a key driver of economic growth by attracting investment, enabling national talent, and enhancing the role of the private sector, positioning the Kingdom as a leading regional and global hub in this field."

The Exobot, available in both sedan and SUV models, is Ceer’s first product in a lineup of seven vehicles to be launched over the next five years. The range will include medium and compact sizes with various drive systems to meet diverse customer needs. All models will be manufactured at the Ceer Industrial Complex within the King Salman Automotive City in King Abdullah Economic City, the largest facility of its kind in the Middle East and among the most advanced automotive plants globally.

Exobot features a unique design inspired by the Kingdom’s landscape, deeply rooted in Saudi culture and vision. The cars are designed and engineered locally to the highest international standards, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s emergence as a regional automotive powerhouse.

The company is expected to contribute more than 30 billion riyals (SAR 8 billion) to Saudi Arabia’s GDP, improve the trade balance by around 80 billion riyals (SAR 21 billion), and create both direct and indirect quality jobs by 2034.

The unveiling of Ceer’s first car aligns with the Public Investment Fund’s efforts to develop a competitive, integrated local automotive industry. As a key driver of economic diversification, the fund launched Ceer in 2022 as Saudi Arabia’s first homegrown automotive brand, aiming to support the national industrial ecosystem, attract investment, create opportunities for the private sector, and boost GDP.
