Riyadh schools celebrate 96th Saudi National Day under 'Pride in Our Nature' theme

Schools across the Riyadh region have launched a series of activities and programs to celebrate the 96th Saudi National Day, under the theme 'Pride in Our Nature.' The events are taking place in both boys’ and girls’ schools, creating a patriotic atmosphere that reflects feelings of pride, belonging, and loyalty to the nation and its leadership.

The celebrations, which began yesterday, aim to strengthen national identity and instill core values in students. They also serve as a reminder of the journey of unification, development, and growth initiated by King Abdulaziz and continued by his sons up to the current era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

The celebration plan prepared by the administration includes a range of special programs and activities during the school day, led by morning broadcasts featuring themes such as:

'With You, My Nation, We Rise to Glory,' 'Birth of a Nation,' 'My Precious Homeland,' 'Heritage and Glory,' 'Journey of a Nation... Ambition of a Generation,' 'My Homeland... Pride and Belonging,' and 'Security and Giving.' The program also features national competitions, art exhibitions, expressive murals, and stations showcasing the Kingdom’s history and cultural heritage.

The General Administration also developed a comprehensive communications plan for the occasion, producing a range of national media content including short films, videos, posters, and daily media coverage and reports documenting the educational sector’s engagement, with participation from teachers, students, and parents.

Activities will continue throughout the coming week in schools across the region, reflecting the pride of the education community in the nation and its achievements, and highlighting the school’s role in building a generation that is aware and proud of its country and values.
