Jazan Red Crescent boosts emergency readiness for National Day celebrations

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority’s Jazan branch has raised its emergency preparedness to support Saudi National Day celebrations, enhancing field coverage across the region’s governorates and deploying ambulance teams, medical staff, and equipment at event sites to ensure rapid response to emergencies and uninterrupted ambulance services around the clock.

The emergency coverage plan includes 24 ambulance centers distributed throughout the region’s governorates, in addition to ambulance teams stationed at event venues, bringing the total number of participating teams to 39. All teams are equipped with the necessary personnel and medical equipment to handle various emergencies, tailored to the nature of the events and expected attendance.

The branch is strengthening its ambulance presence at celebration sites while maintaining the readiness of ambulance centers and the continuous reception and handling of emergency calls, ensuring that ambulance services remain unaffected by National Day festivities.

The operations room receives emergency calls around the clock via 997. The authority’s Jazan branch building has been decorated in national colors to mark the occasion, while field teams remain on standby to provide emergency care and transport patients to healthcare facilities as needed.
