Dense fog and light rain to affect Eastern Province until evening

The National Center for Meteorology has issued a warning of dense fog affecting the Eastern Province today, including the cities of Dammam and Dhahran, as well as the governorates of Hafar Al-Batin, Khafji, Nairyah, Qaryat Al-Ulya, Jubail, Ras Tanura, Qatif, Alkhobar, Buqayq, and many others.

The center stated that the weather conditions will reduce horizontal visibility to between 1 and 3 kilometers on highways and open areas.

The center also noted that light rain is expected in Hafar Al-Batin, accompanied by strong winds that may stir up dust and further decrease visibility.

The National Center for Meteorology confirmed that these conditions will persist until 8 p.m. today.
