Baha Red Crescent launches awareness programs for World First Aid Day

The branch also organized an interactive awareness event in Raghadan Forest, with participation from Baha Health Cluster, Baha Municipality, Shamikh Clinics Complex, Taataf Health Association, Al-Faris Volunteer Team, as well as volunteers and branch staff.
The event featured practical demonstrations and guidance on basic first aid skills and safe, proper responses to injuries and emergencies. Interactive activities included a "Child Responder" corner, designed to teach children the basics of correct action during emergencies.

Sultan bin Saad Al-Malki, Director General of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority's Baha branch, stated that these programs are part of the Authority's ongoing efforts to spread first aid awareness and enhance preparedness in the community. He stressed the importance of acquiring first aid skills, early intervention, and correct action in the first minutes of emergencies, which can help save lives and reduce complications.
