UN adopts Saudi-led resolution to mark International Day for Human Fraternity

Saudi Arabia has won a seat on the United Nations Commission on Drugs and Crime (CND) for the period 2022-2025 and the Commission on Population and Development for the period 2022-2026.

Ambassador Abdullah Al-Muallami; the permanent representative of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations; markedly attributed this to the high status and also international confidence that the Kingdom enjoys; and its record of successes at the global and international levels in various fields.

He stressed that Saudi Arabia; with its long experience and achievements in combating drugs and further organized crimes; will be an important support for the United Nations and also the members of the committee in this field.
