Saudi Arabia and US Business Council has held a roundtable discussion on investment opportunities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The event was hosted by Mayor Brown Law Firm and Saudi Technology Development and Investment Company (TAQNIA).
TAQNIA CEO Eng. Majed AlOnazi provided an insight into how US companies can build partnerships with TAQNIA on key projects in solar, energy, space, and biopolymers, the Saudi Press Agency said.
AlOnazi also briefed on TAQNIA and its establishment in 2011 and investment in technology that contributes towards Saudi Arabia’s economic diversification and is fully in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
Charles Hallab from Mayer Brown said at the launch of the event, as Vision 2030 continues its impressive march of progress; few organizations play such an important role as TAQNIA where technology serves as the cornerstone of economic growth and diversity.
The roundtable was participated by more than 30 US companies including prominent members of USSABC and specialists in defense, security, cyber security, space, renewable energy and healthcare.
The roundtable is part of the USSABC annual activities it hosts in Saudi Arabia and United States to clear up investment opportunities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and promote partnership between Saudi and US companies.
