Saudi Arabia take part in UN 4th forum on financing development

Saudi Arabia's minister of finance assistance Abdulaziz Al-Rasheed headed the kingdom's delegation that participated in the opening of the Fourth Forum on Financing for Development, organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

The Forum concentrated on a number of subjects as well as the achievements and the development of the 2030 goals, such as emerging economic trends and their impact on the economy such and the climate change, the Saudi Press Agency said.

The 4thforum on financing development also highlighted the opportunities and thepotential gains from tackling these trends, with a focus on acceleratingprogress towards sustainable development goals and ways to create and embracenew opportunities.

It alsofocused on inequalities in wages and employment opportunities between men andwomen, their impact on sustainability, and the role of financial systems inpromoting greater equality.
