Saudi Arabia supported 204 development projects in Yemen, says official

The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) has supported more than 204 development projects and initiatives that were implemented in various Yemeni governorates to serve Yemenis in seven basic sectors including education, health, water, transportation, agriculture and fisheries, SDRPY’s Operations Supervisor in Al-Mahra Governorate Office Muhammad Al-Hadi said.

He pointed out that 52 development projects and initiatives were provided to serve development needs and priorities in the governorate and Yemen.

Meanwhile, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has continued implementing the clothing distribution project in Aden and Marib governorates, Yemen.

KSrelief on Tuesday distributed 3,244 pieces of clothing, benefiting 1,708 displaced women.

This comes as a part of the aid being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, for displaced individuals in different Yemeni governorates.
