Saudi Arabia's initiatives in humanitarian work have been witnessed since the founding of this noble entity until today and it has always been on the side of the affected states and people, Al-Bilad newspaper reported.
Based on Saudi Arabia's humanitarian and pioneering role towards the international community in various parts of the world, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) was established to undertake this noble mission of providing aid to the needy with an accurate monitoring mechanism and advanced transport methods, the paper said.
The paper added that Saudi Arabia's response to the relief of those affected by Beirut's Port explosion reflects the great interest that the leadership attaches to the stability and prosperity of the world, consolidating the principles of international peace and security and helping developing countries to achieve the aspirations of their peoples.
Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that the Saudi support ordered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to stand by the brotherly Lebanese people as a result of the massive explosion in Beirut's port is a long series of good deeds that were extended by the white hands of Saudi Arabia to stand besides its Arab and Muslim brothers in the rest of the world.
The paper explained that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is the country that assumes the leadership of the Arab and Islamic worlds, has never been late to provide helping hand to the states and peoples who are going through ordeal. The paper confirmed that the Saudi support for the Lebanese people comes to prove that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia does not differentiate between one country and another in the activities of humanitarian support, without paying attention to the political stances that led to the destruction of Lebanon specifically. It declared that it stands by the Lebanese people of all sects in solidarity with them to overcome the effects of this catastrophe.
