Saudi Arabia announce recovery of 8 Coronavirus-Infected Cases

Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia(KSA) announced monitoring and registering of 70 new cases of the novelCoronavirus (Covid-19).

In a statement announced here tonight, the ministry statedthat among the new infections (11) were cases coming from: Morocco, India,Jordan, the Philippines, Britain, the Emirates and Switzerland.

The 11 cases were isolated directly from airports tohospitality, in quarantine (sanitary isolation), proven effective in dealingwith the transmission of infection, adding that there is a case of a healthpractice, in Riyadh.

The Ministry indicated that the remaining (58) cases are ofthose who mix with previous cases, some of which are related to attendingsocial occasions, such as marriage parties, condolences' offering and familymeetings.

The 70 cases, including (49) in Riyadh, 11 in Jeddah, two inMecca, and one for each cities of Madinah, Dammam, Dhahran, Qatif, Al Baha,Tabuk, Bisha and Hafr Al-Batin, the ministry said.

Meanwhile, the total number of cases infected with the novelCoronavirus in the Kingdom reached (344) cases, of which 8 cases hadrecovered, and the rest of them are all subject to health care, according tothe procedures adopted in sanitary isolation, of which two cases are, incritical condition.

Calling on everyone to adhere to the guidelines anddirectives, including avoiding shaking hands, washing hands and avoidinggatherings, in order to preserve their safety and that of society, the ministryurged the public.

All those who had questions or inquiries regarding thevirus, have only to communicate, immediately, with the "Health ContactCenter 937", stressing that the information shall be taken from theirofficial sources and not to be led to or by the rumors.
