Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that 985 new confirmed cases of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom.

The Health Ministry confirmed in their statement that the daily reported number of infected cases brings the total number to 402,142, including 9,249 active cases.

"There are 999 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable," the statement said.

It added that 10 new deaths have been reported, putting the tally of fatalities at 6,791.

Meanwhile, as many as 661 cases have recovered, raising recoveries' toll to 386,102. On the other hand, 45,953 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
