Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that 590 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) have been reported in the Kingdom.

The daily reported number brings the total number of infected cases to 390,597, including 5,452 active cases, according to the health ministry's statement.

"There are 699 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable," the statement said.

"Seven new deaths have been reported, putting the tally of fatalities at 6,676,"

Meanwhile, as many as 386 cases have recovered, raising recoveries' toll to 378,469, the ministry concluded.
