Saudi Arabia reports 472 New COVID-19 Confirmed Cases

Global COVID-19 death toll passes 1 million with European nations among worst hit

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that 472 new confirmed cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom.

The newly reported number brings the total number to 341,062 cases, including 8,608 active cases receiving necessary medical care. Of these, there are 829 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable.

“507 cases have recovered, bringing the total recoveries to 327,327, the Ministry of Health said, adding that 19 new deaths have been reported, bringing the total deaths to 5,127,” the statement added.

On the other hand, 52,966 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom.
