Saudi Arabia sees 147 new COVID-19 infections as recovery rate nears 98%

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that 381 new confirmed cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom.

The daily reported number brings the total number of confirmed infected cases to 383, 880 including 3,688 active cases receiving necessary medical care.

“The Covid-19 death toll reached 6591,” the Health Ministry said in their statement.

“There are 564 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable,” the statement added.

The Ministry of Health also announced that 240 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total recoveries to 373,601 cases.

“Six new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 6,591,” then statement concluded.
