Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that 302 new confirmed cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom.

Spokesman of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali said in a press conference that the daily reported number brings the total number to 378,002 confirmed cases, including 2,571 active cases receiving necessary medical care.

"There are 486 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable," the statement added.

Dr. Al-Abdulaali announced that 286 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total recoveries to 368,926 cases.

Meanwhile, Five new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 6,505. The number of people who received the COVID-19 vaccine in the Kingdom reached 885,411, Dr. Al-Abdulaali said.
