Official Spokesman of the Saudi Health Ministry Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdulaali announced on Sunday that the Kingdom is among the list of countries that witness more stability and decline in the number of COVID-19 cases.

"Confirmed cases continue to decrease by 98%. Dr. Al-Abdulaali also said that 178,337 vaccine doses have been given so far," Al-Abdulaali said in a statement.

 The Health Ministry announced that 117 new confirmed cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The daily reported number brings the total number of infected cases in the kingdom to 363,809, including 1,970 active cases, receiving necessary medical care.

"There are 309 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable.," the statement added.

Dr. Al-Abdulaali also said that 116 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total recoveries to 355,548 cases. Also, five new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 6,291.
