Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that 1,055 new confirmed cases of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom.

The Health Ministry said in their statement that the daily reported number brings the total number of infected cases to 509,576, including 10,805 active cases.

"There are 1,420 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable," the statement said.

"12 new deaths have been reported, putting the tally of fatalities at 8,075,"

Meanwhile, as many as 1,143 cases have recovered, raising recoveries toll to 490,696.
