Players of the Saudi team achieved three silver medals and four bronze medals on the fourth and final day of the Gulf Water Games that Qatar hosted, securing the second place in the general ranking of age groups with 29 medals.

On the fourth day, player of the Saudi swimming team Ali Hussein Al-Issa ranked second and won the silver medal in the 200 meters backstroke swimming for the general category.

Yousef Bou Arish secured the third place and the bronze medal in the free 50 meters for the general category, while Ahmad Al-Hashem ranked second and won the silver medal in the 1,500 meters free swimming for the general category, and Hassan Al-Bakshi won the bronze medal in the same race. Yousef Bou Arish ranked second and won the 100 meters butterfly for the general category, while Ali Al-Issa ranked third and won the bronze medal in the 400 meters individual medley swimming for the general category.

The Saudi team also ranked third and won the bronze medal in the progression 4/100 meters freestyle for the general category, where the team comprised swimmers Al-Hashem, Bou Arish, Al-Bakshi and Ali Al-Issa.
