Saudi Arabia finances 1000 SMEs in a year

Saleh Al-Rasheed, Governor of the General Authority for Small andMedium Enterprises (Monsha'at) in Saudi Arabia, revealed that thecompany financed more than 1000 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) during theyear from October 2018 until last month, pointing to the launch of specialprograms for capital financing, including the Saudi Venture Capital Company thatinvests in start-up projects.

Al-Rasheed explained that the aim of the forum is to encourageentrepreneurship, and Saudi Arabia is still considered one of the leadingcountries with advanced positions, and it is believed that such forums help toturn these ideas into entrepreneurial projects.
