Saudi Arabia discuss bilateral cooperation in energy, mining with Pakistani in Islamabad

Saudi Arabia's high-level delegation and theIslamic Republic of Pakistan held talks on Friday to discuss ways of enhancingbilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields, especiallyin the fields of refining, mining and renewable energy.

The Pakistani side was represented in the talksby Minister for Power Omar Ayub Khan, while the Kingdom's delegation was representedby Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Mining Affairs Eng.Khalid bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer.

At the outset of the talks, the Minister Ayubwelcomed the Kingdom's delegation, stressing that Pakistan attaches greatimportance to its relations with the Kingdom.

He said that Pakistan considers its relationswith the Kingdom as long-standing fraternal relations rooted in the depth ofhistory and have multiple economic, political and strategic dimensions, andcannot be compared with relations with any other country.
