Saudi Arabia calls People to Vote for More than 34 Projects Competing in WSIS Forum 2020

The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) called on people today to participate in voting for projects of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia competing for the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) prizes 2020, to be organized by International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

CITC saidthat voting for national projects in WSIS will play a major role in developingand sustaining communications and information technology sector to move forwardwith the Saudi Digital Transformation, adding that CITC competes in 16different categories of WSIS Prizes 2020.

Voters canexplore and vote for projects through ITU website, as the deadline for votingis 24 January 2020.

It is worthnoting that since launching the WSIS Project Prizes in 2012, the Kingdom ofSaudi Arabia has won 9 prizes and 14 certificates of excellence.
