Saudi Arabia has succeeded with more than 50 countries in adopting a resolution that sheds light on the human rights situation in Syria.
The decision would help the Syrian people achieve their legitimate hopes and aspirations towards justice, freedom, prosperity and stability.
This was stated in the Kingdom speech delivered by Al-Mouallemi before the Third Committee on item (70 C) Promotion and Protection of Human Rights: (Human Rights Situations and Reports of Special Rapporteurs and Special Representatives) Draft resolution on the situation of human rights in the Syrian Arab Republic.
