Fearing Coronavirus, Saudi Arabia Suspends Flights for 2 Weeks

Two flights arrived at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Friday, from Washington and Houston, and two flights arrived at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah on Friday from New York City, in the United States of America, and from the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

This action comes in implementation of directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, and their keenness on the health and safety of Saudi citizens abroad in light of the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic across the world. All precautionary and preventive measures to combat coronavirus epidemic have already been conducted on all the passengers and they will be quarantined for a period of 14 days.
