Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh said, "The Islamic Development Bank has responded to the government's request to provide medical needs to the health sector, especially in the Hebron Governorate to confront the Corona epidemic with a value of $ 5.5 million through the Al-Aqsa Fund."

Shtayyeh praised the urgent response from the bank and its president, Dr. Bandar Hajjar, indicating that the bank has not stopped extending a helping hand to Palestine. Shtayyeh confirmed that the Islamic Development Bank pledged to provide a soft loan to the Palestinian government in the amount of $ 25 million to support the Estidama program, supervised by the Monetary Authority to provide soft loans to the SMEs affected by the Corona pandemic.
