The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Friday praised the Arab coalition's vigilance in intercepting drones launched against Saudi Arabia by the Iran-backed Houthi militia.
Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen, OIC secretary-general, said Houthi hostilities were hindering efforts; in the way to find a peaceful solution to the conflict in Yemen.
The OIC also has repeatedly condemned the Houthi's actions; as well as those providing the militia with financing and weapons; he said.
The Arab coalition; on Thursday also said it had intercepted; and downed an armed drone and a ballistic missile fired from Yemen toward Saudi Arabia.
