Number of German coronavirus cases jumps by 2,801 – institute

The number of coronavirus cases in Germanyclimbed by 2,801 or roughly a third in a single day, public health instituteRKI said on Thursday, according to Reuters.

The total increased to 10,999 cases while 20 patients died,the public institute said on its website.
