No Coronavirus cases recorded in Saudi Arabia, says Health minister

The Ministerof Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, confirmed that the Ministry of Health hasimplemented many strict precautionary measures to address the new Coronavirus(2019-nCoV), and has strengthened monitoring and control procedures for thisdisease in the entry points to the Kingdom, in addition to flights comingdirectly from the Republic of China, as well as travelers coming from Chinathrough indirect flights, in coordination with the General Authority of CivilAviation.

The Healthcontrol center personnel are inspecting all arrivals from China and measuringtheir vital signs.

The Ministersaid that no cases of infection with the new Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) have beenrecorded in the Kingdom, pointing out that the transmission of the virusbetween humans is through respiratory droplets, as no infection was detectedfrom dealing with goods either.
