Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.

Jeddah-based Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that Riyadh, the capital city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is witnessing during these days successive preparatory meetings for G20 summit to be held in November this year, amid great optimism in achieving outstanding tangible outcomes for a better economy to the world.

The paper added that the finance ministers and central bank governors in the countries of the G20 are holding their first meeting in Riyadh to discuss the prospects of the global economy, policy options to support economic growth, protect against downside risks, along with the policies that can be adopted to enhance economic growth.

In another context, Riyadh-based Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that despite all efforts being exerted to stabilize the situation in Yemen, the Iranian-backed Al-Houthi militia is still targeting Saudi cities, in clear violation of international resolutions, norms and laws, calling the world to shoulder its full responsibilities to stop these hostile actions targeting cities and civilians.

Al-Houthis have always violate the agreements that were concluded with them, because they are subject to the Iranian regime, which does not want security or stability to prevail, neither in Yemen nor in the region, the paper concluded.
