Saudi FM received on Tuesday two phone calls from the UN Special Envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen; and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Costa Rica, Rodolfo Solano Quirós.
During the call with Pedersen; the two officials discussed the latest developments in Syria, and the United Nations' work in relation to these new issues.
Meanwhile, the Saudi Prince and his Costa Rican Counterpart discussed the longstanding friendship between the two countries. Besides, ways to enhance cooperation in various fields.
They also reviewed the developments of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, and efforts exerted by the two countries to contain it, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
