Saudia and Richard Mille Teams Expected to Play for AlUla Desert Polo Final

The finals of the third edition of the Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo Championship are expected to bring together the Saudia and Richard Mille teams at Al Forsan Club in AlUla today for an exciting event.

The Saudi team, strengthened by the Argentine polo legend Adolfo Cambiasso, is looking to win the championship cup, spurred by its overwhelming 8-4 victory over the Dadan team in the semi-final held yesterday, which delighted polo fans.

The Richard Mille team, on the other hand, is seeking to stun the Saudia team in today’s meet, after its last-moment 5-4 victory over the Bentley team on Friday qualified it for today’s final match.

Eight teams participated in the competitions for the Desert Polo Cup set in the picturesque surroundings of AlUla.

One of the quarter final matches brought together the SABB and AlUla teams. The fans enjoyed an exceptional performance that ended with AlUla winning 7-6 in the very last moments of the match.

The other two teams in the quarter finals, Taima and Khaybar, ended up with the former winning 6-5 in an exceptional match in which both teams excelled.

Taima will face AlUla in the semi-final, which is also held today, promising polo fans a special match worth attending.

The Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo Championship is held by the Royal Commission for AlUla in partnership with the Saudi Polo Federation. The tournament boosts AlUla’s prestigious position as a global destination for polo, a competition that reflects the equestrian heritage of the Kingdom.
