Saudi Arabia's Project "Masam" Dismantles 1,187 Mines in 2nd Week of January

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Project (Masam) for clearing mines in Yemen, dismantled, during the second week of March 2022, a total of 1,352 mines planted by the Houthi militia across Yemen, including 14 anti-personnel mines, 935 anti-tank, 395 unexploded ordnance and 8 explosive devices.

Since the beginning of the project, as many as 325,277 mines have been dismantled.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, seeks through the project to clear Yemeni lands of the mines that were randomly planted by the Houthi militia causing death and injury of innocent children, women, and the elderly.
