Prince Turki bin Faisal Visits Interior Ministry Pavilion at World Defense Show

Prince Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz visited yesterday the Ministry of Interior's pavilion at the World Defense Show (WDS), held in Riyadh from February 4 to 8 under the slogan "Equipped for Tomorrow".

Prince Turki was briefed on the plans for the development of the internal security sector and on the use of AI technologies to maintain security, develop safe cities, secure borders, manage crises and disasters, preserve the environment and protect critical infrastructure.

The Ministry of Interior’s participation in the WDS underscores Saudi Arabia’s unremitting support for the military and security industries sector, and its keenness to develop its military capabilities.

Over 750 exhibitors, 115 international delegations and 45 countries are taking part in WDS, which is organized by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) to provide a platform for the world’s defense industry to network, partner, share knowledge and discover new capabilities and innovations in all domains related to defense.
