OIC Thanks Saudi Arabia for Granting New Headquarters to the Organization

The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) new headquarters, in Al-Rayyan area, northeast of Jeddah, offers greater capabilities and support, and helps the organization optimize its work and activities.

OIC Secretary General Hissein Ibrahim Taha commended the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the country hosting the headquarters and the chair of the 14th Islamic Summit, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for all the steadfast material and moral support to OIC and its affiliated bodies.

Taha also thanked the Saudi leadership for supporting joint Islamic action in a way that ensures the good work of the organization, and said that the new headquarters will help it better perform its tasks.

Taha also thanked Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah for granting the organization facilities that help it carry out its duties.

The organization has already begun relocating to the new premises, where several meetings were held in the past few days, said Taha, adding that the building is fully operational and equipped to carry out its activities.
